Rocky Top Comedy Contest Finals Friday, OCT 14th @ the Square Room!!

Friday, October 14, I will be in the Finals of the Knoxcomedy.com Rocky Top Comedy Contest at the Square Room in downtown Knoxville, TN.  This is the first contest I've ever entered, and if the preliminary rounds are any indication, this should prove to be both a fun and funny night.  The finalists performing are:

Jessica Carter- Nashville, TN
John Upton- Tazewell, TN
Jerry Harvey- Chattanooga, TN

Waylon Whiskey- Knoxville, TN 

and (me) Jeff Blank - Knoxville, TN

 Huge high fives to all of these folks and the couple that had made it, but had to drop out.  

The way this contest is set up is that the comics are voted on by the comics, the audience, and a panel of judges, which provides a much better system than most contests.  The three way split of votes prevents someone simply bringing the most folks, but it does still help a bit, i'm sure. (so come out and support me.)

It promises to be a really good show, so anyone in the area should definitely come check it out.
